For those that have been in the club a while, you'll know that Anna joined as a young colt, playing through the age groups in the boys teams. She has also played for Surrey Girls for the last few years.

Anna was an integral part of the ladies team from 2018, the founding years, helping me understand some of the rules of cricket and really raising our profile against other teams. Last year, Anna joined Reigate Priory to play more competitive cricket, but is still supporting Newdigate as a Level 2 coach on a Friday night, as well as scoring and umpiring for the ladies when she can.

I was incredibly proud to see her play at Reigate Priory for Surrey, where she opened the bowling and saw Surrey get a convincing win. Thanks to Dan Jones and his boys and Andrew Major who also came to watch.
