We had a massive 9 games of cricket called off due to the weather last week, and managed to complete only two, however there were some strong individual performances and one positive result across the senior teams.

Senior Men’s Cricket
Sunday XI went down by just one wicket in a tight friendly against Headley Old Freemens. Toby Wells top-scored with a well-made 50, well supported by Shahariar Sami (30) and Mohammad Ali (19). Aiden Jones picked up 2 wickets with the ball.

Women’s Cricket
Women’s 1st XI delivered a commanding win over Outwood CC. Sarah Oram starred with an unbeaten 31*, while Amelia Brien produced an outstanding bowling spell of 4/9. Millie Guthrie also chipped in with 2/14 as Newdigate successfully chased down 98.
